I first heard about Cajovi's page on the 6th of August, 2024, and joining the cousins community has truly been one of the best decisions I've made as a creator. Being involved with The Cousins has been a highlight of my career as a creator this industry often feels isolating and overwhelmingly white, this community has been a genuine lifeline. It's so easy to feel like you're invisible and small, especially with the pay and opportunity gaps creators from ethnic minorities face. What's even tougher is that this lack of opportunities makes it feel like we're all against each other, fighting to be the one who checks a brand's diversity box making it feel all the more lonely. But the cousins eliminates that feeling of ompetition and scarcity. It feels more like we are headed somewhere together and supporting each other.
